John Wayne

"The residents left smiling."

“Jack Edmondson did a great review of John Wayne and when he put his hat on he looked like Wayne!”

“Great! Really loved the performance!”

John Wayne is an icon of manhood and the western mystic. Born in 1907 in Iowa, he started out big at 13 pounds. He became one of the most popular movie actors in American and world history. He was not afraid to voice his pride in America and became active politically. He died of cancer in 1979. His tombstone has one of his quotes: "Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday."

John Wayne is available for special events anywhere in the United States as a walkabout and/or a program. "The Duke" mixes and mingles with guests at all social functions.
